Now, Japanese iris (Hanashobu, Iris ensata var. ensata) is now flowering in many gardens.

When Webmaster visited the garden in April, iris was still small.

But, now it is fully flowering.

Japanese iris (Hanashobu) is a horticulture variety developed from wild iris (Nohanashobu, I. ensata var. Spontanea). Original color of the flower was purple but now it has various colors.

People enjoyed the flowers strolling in the garden.
