Webmaster took a public bus from Kusatsu Railway Station.

Afterr 30minutes of bus ride, Webmaster arrived at Mizuno-mori botanic garden.

This is the entrance square of the garden.

This botanic garden is specialized for aquatic plants. At first, Webmaster went to the greenhouse.

There were many lotus flowers.

After enjoying the greenhouse, I took a bowl of udon noodle accompanied with a piece of fried lotus root in the restaurant next to the greenhouse.

After the light meal, I had a walk in the garden.

Although it was cloudy, I had a nice walk in the beautiful garden.

Then, I headed to the aquarium in Lake Biwa Museum. It was only 5-minute walk from the botanic garden. This is the entrance of the museum.

Lake Biwa is the largest freshwater lake in Japan. This museum shows us various aspects of the lake.

Consequently, the aquarium is specialized for freshwater lives.

It was Saturday when I visited, there were many family visitors.

The museum locates near the lake shore. I try to have a lake cruise to Otsu Port. To my surprise, I was only passenger in the ship.

After 45-minutes cruise, I arrived at Niono-hama Port (Lago Otsu), where I took the other ship to Otsu Port.

This is Ichiban-maru that take us to Otsu Port.

I enjoyed a short cruise for 15 minutes on the open-air deck to Otsu Port.

End.
